Friends have been meeting friends at Vitucci's, a family-owned watering hole, since 1934. Before the Vitucci family settled on a cocktail lounge, friends were meeting friends over dinner as early as 1903 at Mike Vitucci's Third Ward restaurant, where Mike became known as King of the Third Ward.
Later, Mike's son, Frank, got involved in the restaurant business. Three of Frank's 12 children, Mike, Myron and Angelo, took over after Frank passed away. The business is now operated by Angelo's son Tony and managed by his cousin Frank.
Open every day of the year, Vitucci's full bar offers excellent cocktails, including fabulous martinis and award winning Bloody Marys. With enough space for 150 people, there's plenty of room to play pool or video games. You can also choose to simply sip a cold one while catching the game on one of five big-screen televisions.
Schedule your next private party in the large back room, where there's room for 80 people, and you can arrange catering with Vitucci's or provide your own food.
A nostalgic feeling prevails, partly due to a mural that showcases Angelo and his brother Frank and partly thanks to the different generations who have mingled here. According to people who ought to know, "If you're from Milwaukee, you've been to Vitucci's."
Come join the good times!
